VASTU SHASTRA FOR HOME : POSITION OF STORAGE

Vastu Shastra is an age old great science which has its origin in AtharvVeda. This ancient science describes about 5 basic elements. Distribution of these basic elements should be in an optimum manner

to ensure balanced state in different directions. In order to attain optimum harmony in health, wealth, relationship etc., the basic elements should be balanced in any home, office , factory etc.

These basic elements are :

FIRE
EARTH
SPACE
WATER
WOOD

Different elements denote different directions. If any anti element is present in any direction, then attributes of that direction get hampered. In that case, unfavourable effects get manifested.

Any activity or utility should be matched with the direction assigned for the same to avoid elemental clash. Keeping or storing things denotes the activity which is matched with South West direction.

Storage of things denote Earth element. So, it can be said that activity of storage of things generally matches with South West direction or zone of any property.

Following are the discussions regarding effect of storage placement in different directions :

Storage in North

According to Vastu Shastra Rules, North direction indicated we opportunities to earn money.If storage is built in this direction, then pathway of inflow of new opportunities get blocked. So, it is not advisable to build storage here.

Storage in North East

North East is the direction from where positive energy enters a premises. If storage items are placed here, that inflow of positive vibes get hampered. So, unwanted and unfavourable incidents get manifested in such place.

Storage in North of North East zone / Health zone

As per Vastu Shastra, Health zone,i.e. North of North East zone of a house should be balanced and clutter free to ensure sound health of the people living in the house. Element of this zone is water. Storage denotes earth element. So, storage in this important direction may result in prolonged and chronic illness.

Storage in East

Storage in East direction can result in damage in Relationships in personal and professional and social level. This kind of placement results in clash between Air and Earth element.

Storage in South East

As per Vastu Shastra, storage in South East should be organised and tidy. But, storage should be placed after analysing zonal strength properly. If this direction is low in strength, then storage should not be placed here.

Storage in n South West

Accordingly to the rules prescribed in Vastu Shastra, South West is the ideal direction for storge. This direction denotes earth element and that matches with the activity of storage of things.

Storage in South of South West

South of South West is the zone of disposal. Any object placed in this zone gets disposed off from our life. So, anything important or valuable should not be placed here.

Maintaining elemental balance is an important factor as per Vastu Shastra.

Like any other activity, storage also should be placed by keeping in mind this important factor to ensure optimum and greater living.
