Vastu Shastra is an age old science which has its origin in Atharv veda.As per this science, different objects, activities and utilities generate different effects in different zones of any space.
According to vastu Shastra, every Home/Office/factory/Shop is divided into 16 Vastu zones. However, some activities help in boosting vibes of a particular zone. In the same way, some activities are detrimental for the vibes of a zone. So, it is very much important to implement proper vastu norms over the 16 zones in a given space.
While we are talking about placing Washing Machine, we should try to look into what activity this actually denotes.For instance, Washing machine washes the cloth by churning the dirt out of the clothes. So, it is actually churning activity. In fact, we should place the machine accordingly.
Now, let us look for its effects in different zones as per Vastu Shastra :
As for eaxample, a washing machine in East direction

As per Vastu Shastra norms, there is a zone between East and South East Vastu directions.
This zone is known as Churning zone.
- This is the ideal direction for washing machine placement.
- Such placement helps in reducing confusion and anxiety.
- As a result, it boosts mental clarity. So, decision making capability gets increased.
So, we can conclude that, we should always apply Vastu Shastra methodology at our Home. This can help us to achieve the optimum living we deserve.
